EXHIBITION: Atelier CosMonique cordially invites visitors to explore an exhibition dedicated to the brand’s most notable research and experimental collections. The showcase will feature three distinct projects that embody CosMonique’s contemporary jewelry vision: “PREZIOSI DI NATURA”, “CINQUE – GIOIELLI D’INSIEME”, and the latest collaboration with botanist Marta Tognetti, “CLORI”. The first project, “PREZIOSI DI NATURA”, represents a bold departure from traditional bezel settings, symbolizing Water, Air, Earth, and Fire. While metal is the element we master, the natural world is embraced as a cherished treasure. “CINQUE – GIOIELLI D’INSIEME” reflects on the significance of human connection in the digital age, designed to foster relationships between individuals. Lastly, “”CLORI” – SPILLE FIORITE” seamlessly merges jewelry and botany, uniting floral and natural elements with elegant design, resulting in wearable works of art in the form of brooches.

CosMonique Gioielli has decided to participate in Milan Jewelry Week 2023 by offering a workshop where you will have the opportunity to get to work firsthand and have an unusual experience. The workshop will consist of making a piece of jewelry inspired by our KYPSELI collection, starting with beeswax. That’s right, the same wax that is used in beekeeping for grafting beehives, which will be shaped to your liking and then cast in metal, following the ancient rules of the lost-wax casting technique. The idea is for anyone to test themselves and experiment, shaping their own piece of jewelry inspired by the Kypséli collection, getting in touch with the lost wax technique, more closely. Afterwards CosMonique will take care of your jewelry, after the metal casting and will finish and polish it and then return it completed to the participant.
Kypsèli is not only jewelry to be worn but also becomes an ethical message to be conveyed; The waxy sheet is worked following the profile of the hexagonal cells that constitute it, to maintain its immediate reference to the fascinating world of these insects, incredibly indispensable to the biodiversity of our planet Once again, great space is given to the continuous research of materials providing the jewelry, not only with an interesting shape, a beating heart with a focus on ethics and sustainability. Participants will then be able to create a piece of jewelry, according to the directions that will be provided, using an ancient goldsmithing technique married to beeswax in an unusual way. The wax result will then be cast in brass; for requests in specific precious metals, a quotation can be requested during the workshop.

On October 20th-21st, 2022, there will be 4 workshop sections that you can join by booking, each session will host minimum 4 / maximum 6 participants. So hurry up and make your reservations!
Materiale: the material will be entirely provided by CosMonique Gioielli; you can bring a notepad with you if you want.

How it is performed: a brief introductory part on the lost-wax casting technique, explanation of the methods used to create the “Kypseli ” collection, and a hands-on, manual part of modeling beeswax to create the prototype to be cast in metal.
At a later stage CosMonique Jewelry will cast and polish the jewelry, which will then be returned to the participant as finished jewelry.
Cost: The cost of the workshop is 100.00 euros per participant, which includes materials and labor for grinding and polishing by CosMonique Jewelry; the casting of the object will be in brass. For any castings in noble metals, a quote will be available on site during the course of the workshop. It will be possible to pick up your jewelry at CosMonique’s workshop, or request shipping at the following rates: 15.00 euros (ITA) / 30.00 euros (EU) / 45.00 euros (extraEU).

Atelier CosMonique opens its doors to an exhibition dedicated to the brand’s most significant research and experimental collections. On display will be three projects that represent CosMonique’s vision of contemporary jewelry: “NATURE’S PRECIOUSNESS,” “FIVE – JEWELS OF THE ENTIRE,” and the latest one created in collaboration with botanist Marta Tognetti, “CLORI.”
The first represents a provocative rebellion against the traditional bezel code. Water, Air, Earth and Fire are symbolized. While we dominate only the metal part, the natural element is welcomed as a treasure.
“Five – Jewels of Togetherness” is a design that reflects on the importance of human contact in the digital age. THE design is intended to promote the relationship between two individuals.
Finally, “Clòri – Flower Brooches” is a unique fusion of jewelry and botany. Clòri brooches combine floral and natural elements with elegant design. Each brooch is a wearable work of art.
