Within our boutique, you’ll still find the original creations by founder Francesco, which bear his unmistakable style. Today, the legacy of Merù continues, passionately nurtured by his two sons. They seamlessly blend new collections with an ongoing commitment to preserving Merù’s historical heritage. The event will take place at the exclusive Via Solferino 3 boutique, where they eagerly await guests to reveal the remarkable local success story that Merù has become.
ABOUT
The founder, Francesco Mereu, originally hailing from Sardinia, journeyed to Milan to attend the Scuola d’Arte e Mestieri, where he graduated with honors in watchmaking. Armed with boundless creativity and entrepreneurial acumen, he embarked on a remarkable journey to success. In 1960, at the youthful age of 26, Francesco established his own enterprise, specializing in the restoration of watches and a diverse range of antique objects. His workshop, located on Via Solferino in the enchanting Brera district, became the cradle of his craftsmanship.
