The workshop opens its doors to visitors, providing them with a glimpse into the world of goldsmithing from the 1800s to the present day. It showcases the tools of the trade that have been used for over 150 years to handcraft jewelry. A wonderful collection of designs that narrates the story of Italian jewelry style is also on display. This collection is known for its diversity and exceptional craftsmanship, transforming each piece into a small work of art. Every year, participation in the Milano Jewelry Week serves as a testament to Milan’s goldsmithing heritage. Visitors are guided through the history of one of Europe’s most creative cities, shedding light on the multifaceted nature of a craft that demands both culture and refined manual skills to excel in the contemporary jewelry scene.
ABOUT
Since 1870, in the historic center of Milan, the Merzaghi family has been creating jewelry entirely by hand in an atelier where unique made-to-measure objects can also be designed together with clients. Now in their fifth generation, siblings Paola and Mauro carry on the family tradition for customers who love quality and open their doors to visitors who want to discover a magnificent collection of historic jewelry designs.
