Erika Nicklas was born in Caracas, Venezuela and grew up in Madrid. She moved to Milan in 2007 to study Fashion Design at the Marangoni Institute. She developed her passion for jewelry while working as an Accessories Designer for eight years. In 2017 she decided to attend the Scuola Orafa Ambrosiana in Milan, where she focused her studies and research on colors, gemstones and precious metals. In April 2019, during the Milan Design Week, she presented MOTCACHÉ, her first handcrafted jewelry brand.
