How is an object born and what is hidden in the reflections of a colored stone or in the brilliant shimmer of silver? “One thing leads to another ” is the title of an important book by Bruno Munari that talks about the design method in a broad sense. Today ” One thing leads to another” becomes a small tribute to this great artist through an exhibition of four jewelry designers under 40 who, exhibiting a jewel designed specifically for the event, will tell what for each the creative moment means. Ambition and joy, inspiration and frustration, loneliness and research: what is the aspect that prevails? Gala Rotelli, Francesca Roasenda, Rosa Castelbarco and Federica Fabiano share the love for Italian craftsmanship and attention to detail. Instead, it is the style that differentiates them: starting from inspiration and coming to the subject, each of them has found his/her own language.
ABOUT GALA ROTELLI ATELIER
Gala Rotelli Atelier is the studio of the artist, who works with silver and bronze and prefers the details of ordinary life that she loves to transform into extraordinary objects. It is inspired by famous works of classic and modern art, studying mostly natural elements that, through the use of 3D modeling and numerous manual steps, are geometrized. Her work, poetic design, wants to transform fragility into beauty.
