Born in Jordan and currently working between Italy and Portugal, Deema completed her Bachelor of Arts in Graphic communication at Reading University in 2005 and a Master of Arts in Design Studies at Central St Martins London College of Art in 2009. In 2017 she completed her Master of Fine Arts in Jewellery and Body Ornaments at the Alchimia Contemporary Jewellery School in Florence. She was the selected graduate to participate in the Klimt Graduate Award 2017 and she also won the Marzee Graduate Award in Holland in 2018.
