Emi Kato was born in Tokyo and graduated in interior design and set design at Musashino Art University. After working as an interior designer for Engineering Fuji Co., she decided to go to Italy (1995) to do research. Continuous experimentation with ever new materials and the curiosity to explore led her to approach the art of goldsmithing and metalworking and did not give up following his passion.
