ESH Gallery presents LIGHTNESS, a collective exhibition dedicated to the works of artists such as Kyou-Hong Lee, Kyeok Kim and Namkyung Lee, among the new exponents of contemporary Korean art. The exhibition offers a selection of glass wall works and three-dimensional metal works with the aim of investigating the most recent technical and expressive research between art and craft tradition. The common thread that unites the work of the artists, although authors of distant languages in terms of technique and aesthetics, is the concept of time as a metamorphic process and as a reflection on human experience. To enrich the exhibition a selection of jewels by the young South Korean woman Namkyung Lee. Her work evokes memories clouded by time through small windows shaped into earrings, brooches and necklaces, where, assembled inside, old photographs symbolizing the artist’s memories are discovered.

ESH Gallery presents international artists who work on the indistinguishable border between art, design and contemporary craftsmanship. With the exhibition “Walking Treasures. Treasures for walking” ESH intends to bring the public closer to the artist’s jewel by enhancing the experimentation and uniqueness of each piece.
