MATERIAL REQUESTED FOR THE BOOK ARTISTAR JEWELS
The book represents an additional promotional tool, in fact it guarantees that all the content of the exhibition can remain over time and spreaded throughout the world. The volume is distributed in Italian bookshops and in those of major European capitals, and is also shipped worldwide to over 5,000 concept stores, galleries, personal shoppers, boutiques and sector journalists. The book will be available as a preview during the Milano Jewelry Week in October 2024.
Each artist participating has its own space for photos and descriptions of the jewels, biography and contacts, in this way, both enthusiasts (potential end customers) and professionals in the sector can directly contact the artist of interest for purchases or collaborations.

As far as the realization of the book is concerned, we ask you to provide us with the following material:

Only the information relating to the selected jewels that you will exhibit in the event and presented in the editorial volume must be entered in the data form.
It’s requested to enter your biography, descriptions of the jewels with related materials, your personal image or logo to publish in the Participants 2024 section on the website, and photos of the jewels. If you have requested our shooting service, you can also upload low-res still life and/or worn images to the form, that we will only use to identify your jewels and pair them with the correct descriptions. The photos that will be taken by us for you will be used both for editorial publication and for dissemination to the trade press. The images uploaded in the form will help us to match the jewels to the correct descriptions. This information will also be used for the labels created for the exhibition positioned next to the jewel and for uploading the products to the e-commerce site www.overjewels.com.
The deadline for completing the form is August 28, 2024.
PHOTOS OF THE JEWELS
– Those who have purchased our shooting service must send the jewels to our office in Milan by August 28, 2024. We only take photo shoots for pieces with an effective value of less than € 3000.
– Those who have not purchased our shooting service must send us the images for the book by August 28, 2024 and ship the pieces for the exhibition to the shipping address we will send by email from 2nd to 16th September, 2024.
The requested photos must have the following characteristics: Images of the framed object in its entirety, preferably taken from multiple angles, with a completely white background, in jpg or tif format with layers, high resolution (300dpi), minimum width 2000 px ( height proportionally). SHIPPING OF THE JEWELS
JEWELRY DELIVERY
According to the deadlines indicated above for sending the jewels depending on whether or not the shooting service has been purchased, it is possible to deliver the jewels that will be exhibited at the event in person or by your own courier to the shipping address we will send you by email.
JEWELRY PICK UP
The jewelry can be collected in person on Sunday 20th October, after the end of the event from 6:00 pm onwards at the location of the exhibition. We will handover the jewels to you with the relative packaging.
Otherwise the pick up can be in person or by courier at our offices (Prodes Italia, via Sansovino, 6 20133 Milan) from 28th October 2024 to 25th Novembre 2024. At the end of the exhibition, our team will pack the creations back in their original packaging, ready for the pick up. If Participants do not collect them by Monday 25th November 2024, Prodes Italia will no longer be responsible for them.
USEFUL INFORMATION FOR JEWELRY SHIPPING
– We highly suggest you pack your jewels carefully in order to protect them from possible knocks, using suitable boxes and packaging material.
– Use a reputable courier who makes tracked and/or insured shipments, we strongly advise against shipping via the public postal service.
– Those who reside in a country outside the European Community can choose two shipping methods:
> Standard tracked: for non-precious and/or low-value jewellery. In this case, since the jewels are sent for an exhibition, you can include the words “NO COMMERCIAL VALUE” on the invoice with a symbolic amount of $10. By doing this, the customs taxes charged will be minimal.
> Insured: in this case we recommend carrying out the “Temporary Importation” to avoid customs charges. If you choose this option, contact the customs agency in your country to get all the information necessary for the shipment.
– For any doubts and before shipping and collecting the goods, we ask you to contact us at the e-mail address logistics_mjw@prodesitalia.com to reduce import times and minimize any related problems. We also ask you, once the jewels has been shipped, to send us the name of the courier and the tracking number to logistics_mjw@prodesitalia.com so that we can keep track of the incoming shipment.
– All those who have purchased our shipping service will receive an e-mail from logistics_mjw@prodesitalia.com to book the date for pick up and delivery of the package. Our logistics department will take care of the entire process to get the package to its destination correctly and handle all the documentation necessary for the shipment.
COMMUNICATION & ACCREDITATIONS
Our staff will entirely take care of the set-up of the exhibition who will place the jewellery on holders provided by us and make the descriptive labels to be placed next to the jewellery. Participants can provide their communication material (business cards, postcards, brochures..), that we’ll display at the event location. Any leftover promotional material must be collected by the Participants at the end of the exhibition. If Participants do not collect them by Sunday 20 October 2024, they will be disposed of by Prodes Italia.
Our press office will contact you requesting photos and promotional material to be used on our social networks, specifically:
– A short quote or a short text that express your poetics or your inspiration in the creation of the jewels (preferably we ask you to write it in the first person to use it as a real quote);
– High-definition photographic material (still life or worn) of one or more pieces to be included in our social content, you can also submit photos of different jewels or collections, not only the ones selected for the exhibition;
– Mini 15-second videos for stories or videos to publish as reels. You can film yourself, for example, while you create your works or show us your worn jewelry.
In the coming months, the 2024 Participants session will be visible on the milanojewelryweek.com website with all the details of each exhibitor and the calendar of scheduled events (talks, live performances, presentations, cocktail parties, etc.).
