Hanna Kowalska grew up in Poland close to the Baltic sea and the forests that surround her hometown. Growing up in such surroundings soon became the cause of the artists strong affinity with nature. This connection has became a powerful tool that she continues to channel into her work. Since first becoming fascinated with art jewellery, Hanna’s practice has been heavily influenced by the process of experimentation and the use of materials such as textiles, sand and resin.
