Are we sure we know what lies behind the story of a jewel that we have bought or was given to us? The lecture takes us behind the scenes of the jewel with the aim of revealing the background of what we do not know about the jewel. and in evil. Isn’t all that gold perhaps, what glitters? Are we sure, when we buy a jewel, that we know what we are really buying? An intense and very compelling journey into the knowledge of the very essence of the object, which will help us a lot in a future much more conscious and pragmatic purchase of a jewel in precious metal. About the Speaker
Guido Solari, founder Scuola Orafa Ambrosiana (SOA) in via Savona 20
Guido Solari was born in Genoa in 1962. He finished his studies in Economics and Commerce at the La Sapienza University of Rome and moved to France where he began his professional activity that will lead him to travel a lot and to collaborate over time with three important multinational companies, dealing with sales and training. In 2006 he moved to Milan where he opened the second branch of the Scuola Orafa Ambrosiana (SOA) in via Savona 20: a school founded in 1995 by his twin brother Luca in via Tadino 30. In 2008 Guido launched the “SOA LAB & FACTORY”, in fact, the first co-working in the field of gold and jewelery, to support students in expanding their training path. The initiative is so successful that in 2018 the third office in via Tortona 26 is inaugurated. The office in via Savona becomes, one of a kind, totally S&F open to students of the school, hobbyists and professionals, 24 hours a day and 365 days a year . Guido Solari is now director of the SOA in via Tortona and the S&F in via Savona. The structure of the SOA now has 23 different courses between fundamental and specialized, with students of all ages and backgrounds.
