Markus Lilja is a fourth-year visual art student from Finland. Since he was a little kid, art has been a big part of his life, while growing up he spent lots of time drawing, whittling and carving wood or sculpting with modeling clay and similar kind of mediums. It could be said that he has been self-studying art his whole life before going to Saimia university of applied sciences. Markus creates his art highly inspired by natural fractals, science, dystopic world view and eccentric people, no wonder that his artwork has been described sometimes ambiguous but still clear enough to understand.
