Tempo Verticale is an independent exhibition that tells the encounter between two personalities operating in the contemporary jewelery segment, both in constant dialogue with nature, each in its own way, between experimentation and use of classic and alternative materials, hyperrealism and surrealism. In the heart of Brera, in the space of Haruko Ito, Simona Materi presents her collection “Imaginary Mountains” which consists exclusively of unique pieces, made as sculptures to wear. The concept of the “Imaginary Mountains” collection stems from a reflection on the meaning of life and on the tests to which existence subjects us, just like a mountain route, which is sometimes light and sometimes particularly demanding. The inauguration is scheduled for 20 October, while the toast with the artist is scheduled for Saturday 22 October. The exhibition will remain available in Haruko Ito’s studio alongside his creations also at the end of the Milano Jewelry week.

Simona Materi began her journey in 2001. Her research has formal and aesthetic roots and particular attention is devoted to the “unique piece”. The jewel, in its uniqueness, beyond the intrinsic value of the object, aspires to the status of a work of art to be worn. The unique collections, of classical, thematic or contemporary design inspiration, made with precious or alternative materials reflect the high quality craftsmanship typical of contemporary Made in Italy.
