Xiaohui Yang is a Chinese artist who obtained a Doctoral of Visual Art degree in the Queensland College of Art, Griffith University. Yang prefers to create objects that promote dynamic responses from the viewer or potential “wearer”. By drawing on the connection between objects and wearers, she attempts to create visible, touchable, measurable and expressible circumstances of sensory experience to prove that the body and object interact and mutually shape, in a two-way record.
