Yael has come to the field of contemporary jewelry in recent years, as a continuation of an academic career. She has a PhD in musicology, and her teaching at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem is about the interconnection between music and image. She will soon complete her undergraduate studies in the Jewelry and Fashion Department at Bezalel. Her theoretical background in music, history of art and philosophy as well as her fascination from nature are her sources of inspiration.
