Yael Magnes is an award-winning artist, designer and metalsmith. In her latest collection Intentional Serendipity, once again, Yael questions the definitions and perceptions that influence her. She uses “scribbles” of hair hanging on a bathroom wall, as her inspiration. By presenting each object in a physical frame Yael raises some of her persisting questions; Is this art? Is this design? Is this jewelry? Where does this item belong? She currently lives and works in Brooklyn NY with her family.
